ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Michelle

I know what it feels like to live a life that looks right to everyone around you, while privately feeling like you're disappearing inside it. And still wanting to be truly present for your children.

When my marriage ended, I turned inward. Not because I had a plan, but because I had no choice. The confusion, the guilt, the not quite understanding why certain dynamics had played out the way they had – all of it sent me on a path of genuine self-inquiry that changed the course of my life.

That searching led me to Dr Shefali Tsabary, whose work stopped me in my tracks. I heard her on a podcast speaking with radical honesty about her own experience of motherhood, marriage and divorce – even as one of the world's leading family therapists and the founder of the Conscious Parenting movement. Something in me recognised immediately that this was the work I needed to do.

I joined her Conscious Parenting Institute to go deep –  on myself. I wanted to understand my own patterns, my triggers, the places I froze or overreacted, the generational wounds I hadn't known were running me. What I found transformed not just how I parent, but how I move through every relationship in my life.

Further training followed naturally from there. I deepened my understanding of trauma and the emotional body through the work of
Dr Gabor Maté, trained in trauma-informed life coaching, and have continued expanding my practice through ongoing seminars and neuroscience study. Meditation and breathwork have become central to my own daily life — not just tools I teach but practices I genuinely lean on.  Each layer has brought me closer to the work I do today.

Through this process I have become more grounded, more present, and more authentically myself than I have ever been. And I became a coach because I wanted to offer others what this work had given me – the tools to finally understand themselves, to change the patterns that keep getting in the way, and to create more connection in their relationships and families.

What you can expect from working with me

I have deep respect for anyone who chooses to show up to coaching and be honest about their inner world. All stories, emotions, and experiences are welcome here.

My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in the Conscious Parenting principles developed by Dr Shefali Tsabary, informed by the Compassionate Inquiry approach of Dr Gabor Maté. I work with both mind and body  –  helping you recognise the patterns that are shaping your reactions, relationships and choices, so that real, lasting change becomes possible.

I also believe wholeheartedly in the healing power of humour. This work is deep  – but it doesn't have to be heavy all the time. There is always space for lightness and laughter.
